I will also be reviewing it soon.
Let me know what you think.

My contract has just come up for renewal and decided to get myself a T-Mobile G2 Touch (Or a HTC Hero in english).
I have to say I am really impressed with this phone, I had read reviews about it being slow, locking up all the time etc etc. However in the 2 weeks I have had it I have not had a single lock up, I did however have some slowness when I first purchased the phone however after upgrading the ROM on it with the latest from HTC the speed was back up to normal.
The call quality is good, and I have been told that people can hear me perfectly. The battery life is good, Read more »
I have just been reading up on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), located 300ft underground near the French-Swiss border. And how if it is activated on the 10th of September there is a chance that black holes will form, we will be sucked in and eaten up.
Sounds bad does it not? Well never fear! People have taken the company to court over this and are trying to prevent its turn on, but that does not seem likely with something that is 17 miles long and has cost £4.4 Billion to build.
What is this machine I hear you ask? Well if you have watched a lot of space programs like myself you will know – but for those of you who have not I will explain. This machine was built so we could get more of an insight as to what happened in the first billionths of a second after the Big Bang. It works by firing atoms at massive speeds around this 17 mile long tunnel and crashing them into each other. Now when I say ‘massive’ speeds it is said that when fired the atom will be able to make 11,245 trips around the tunnel every second. This will allow scientists to possibly discover a fundamental part of the atom which is said to exist but that has never been observed called the “Higgs boson” amongst many other groundbreaking discoveries. This however brings us the the black holes.
When the atoms collide experts predict that millions of tiny black holes will be produced – the company conducting the experiment (CERN) says there is nothing to worry about and that these tiny black holes will vanish as quickly as they came – however the people protesting against this say the scientists conducting the experiment are playing god and that no one can guarantee these black holes will not survive.
What would happen if they did survive? They would rapidly grow in size and eat the earth in a very short space of time thus removing all trace of us. However (CERN) say that this experiment is vital to unlock the secrets of matter that forms everything around us.
Well this is being fought in a European Court of Human Rights as we speak so lets see the turn out.
What’s your view on this? Vital to scientific research or putting earth in unnecessary danger. Do have your say with a comment however remember that it may be your last!
